This morning, I was a little press for time at the gym and did not do as much as I would have liked. So, in the afternoon, after my normal day job and before coaching, I did a quick High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), it goes like this:
Objective: As many rounds in 10 mins.
10 reps of each
- Burpees with star jump– normal burpee with a star jump instead of a straight jump at the top.
- Alternate leg and arm vertival reach (10 on each side 20 all together)- Start lying on your back bring Right arm and Left leg to meet at the top, return to starting position and repeat.
- Push ups– any variation
- Dish Tucks– Lie on your back, lift your legs and shoulder blades off the ground- this is dish. Bring your legs in then upper body in to a tuck, balancing on your bottom- tuck position. Bring back to staring position and repeat.
- Squats– any variation.
I managed 4 complete rounds and did squats for the remainder of the time because I got distracted!
Have a go and comment the number of rounds, also include the incomplete rounds. For example 4 rounds and 5 burpees.
