Sunday Legs

Happy Sunday folks!

Today isn’t about a stroll in the park. It’s about smashing out an awesome leg session!

Usually, today will be my rest day, however, due to not feeling so peachy during the week and choreography camp in the coming week, I’ve decided to delay my rest day and hit the gym today. As yesterday’s was an all upper body action, I decided to hit legs.

I’ve gone for the medium resistance with higher reps (20) today. 3 sets unless otherwise stated. The objectives for today are explosive movements while maintaining form.

Duration: 1 hr 15 mins- with a great stretch to finish off.

Superset 1

Leg press (toes over the edge of the platform- works the hammies!)

Bosu ball jumps

Superset 2

Cable side lunge

In/Out jumps

Superset 3

Single leg cable deadlifts

Tuck jumps – for 2 sets. On the last set, barbell deadlifts to failure

Superset 4

Single leg extensions

Sumo Squats

Superset 5

Back squats

Bulgarian/split squats


This workout really works up a sweat. Incorporating plyometric exercises gets the heart pumping, effectively doing cardio without stepping on the treadmill. 🙂
