Couldn’t resist, had to share this photo of the beach near my place…if you look closely, there are ‘trees’ in the water- mangroves.
When the tide is out, the water disappears leaving a relatively flat but pattered sandy mud. Towards the right, there is a spot called pretty pools. when the tide goes out, there are little pockets of warm water that remain where the locals go for a dip, just like a bath.
I have been told by many that there are stone fish, crocodiles and sharks that frequent the spot, however when the tide is out, it is relatively safe to swim…at your own risk!
